This module contains various functions used to perform conversion in Geodata.

convert_cutout(cutout, convert_func[, show_progress])

Convert and aggregate a weather-based renewable generation time-series.

convert_temperature(ds)

Return outside temperature (useful for e.g. heat pump T-dependent

temperature(cutout, **params)

convert_soil_temperature(ds)

Return soil temperature (useful for e.g. heat pump T-dependent

soil_temperature(cutout, **params)

convert_heat_demand(ds, threshold, a, constant, hour_shift)

heat_demand(cutout[, threshold, a, constant, hour_shift])

Convert outside temperature into daily heat demand using the

convert_solar_thermal(ds, orientation, trigon_model, ...)

convert_pv(ds, panel, orientation[, trigon_model, ...])

convert_wind(ds, turbine, **params)

Convert wind speeds for turbine to wind energy generation.

convert_windspd(ds, hub_height, **params)

Extract wind speeds at given height

convert_windwpd(ds, hub_height, **params)

Extract wind power density at given height, according to:

convert_pm25(ds)

Generate PM2.5 time series according to [1]:

get_var(cutout, var, **params)

Extract a specific variable from cutout

compute_var(cutout, fn, **params)

Compute a specific function from cutout
